I came into the office to work on some paperwork that I had. I was hoping that Jameka would be here but it’s her day off. Sometimes she would still come in. I wonder if she’s staying away because of me. I hope that’s not the case. I really did enjoyed myself with her the other night, I just haven’t gotten the chance to tell her. I haven’t even talked to her since then. Maybe I should call her but I don’t want to seem thirsty.

Hell, who am I kidding? I am thirsty! I want to know what she’s doing, if she’s with someone right now, and if she has been thinking about me at all. Probably not, because if so, why hasn’t she called me? I’m about to call Aria and see if they’re together instead of calling Meka’s phone.

“Hey Aria. What’s up baby sister?”

“Nothing big brother. In the house, as usual, by myself looking at television like I always do.”

“That’s shocking; I would’ve thought that you and your girl would be together at the mall or something.”

“I just got off the phone with her. She said that she’s relaxing today. She sounded like she had a lot on her mind so I just let her go and told her to call me later.”

I couldn’t help but smile when I heard that Meka was in the house. Now the only thing that bothered me was if she was in the house alone or with someone else. I guess the only way I could get an answer to that question was to call her my damn self. I still couldn’t believe that my sister was at the club last night. I was glad to see her having a good time. Seeing her happy was a good thing. That girl right there was my heart.

“Well Aria, I was just checking on you. Maybe we can go out to eat later, once I finish up at the office.”

“Okay brother, I would love that. You know I like to eat but I love it even more when you pay. Call me later.”

My sister was something else but I loved her more than life itself. So Meka was in the house. I should call her and see where her head is. I just might do that once I finish this paperwork. I couldn’t believe that damn Nikki. The other night she showed my ass that she’s not the one to fuck with. She was outside waiting on a nigga. I knew her ass was gone do that shit anyway. I knew what she needed to shut her ass - up some good ole beast.

Now see, if some shit was to get started between me and Jameka, I would have to cut Nikki’s ass loose. She’s crazier than a motherfucker and I wouldn’t want anything to happen to Meka because I know I would have to deal with Aria. See Nikki doesn’t know how to let go. She always seems to find a way to get back in.
